Time & again
Whoa, there...
All season long I’ve been circling and diving into the ways I relate to time, to speed and to my body. In the past, I used to face off against time like it was a problem—there was never enough, it was crowded, constrictive, and the lack felt toxic. It was me vs the clock.
Playing with speed—building my capacity to go both faster and to go slower—has made time more malleable, more liquid and stretchable.
And it’s all possible though being in the moment. Not the fusty and scolding in traditional cues to Be Here Now, but through delight.
But mostly I’m just messing around. Moving fast. Moving slow. Experiencing the stunning implications these changes in tempo have on exploring creativity.
